Charles Manson follower nears release

Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme was a 26-year-old disciple of the cult murderer Manson when she aimed a semiautomatic .45- caliber pistol at Ford in September 1975 in Sacramento, Calif. Secret Service agents grabbed her and Ford was unhurt.

Fromme, now 60, is scheduled to be released on parole from the Federal Medical Center Carswell in Fort Worth on Aug. 16, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons and the court-appointed attorney who represented her at trial.

This is like the Book, 1984

White House Draws Fire for Requesting 'Fishy’ Information From Supporters on Health Reform
The White House is under fire for a blog post asking supporters to send "fishy"information received through rumors, chain e-mails and casual conversations to a White House e-mail address, flag@whitehouse.gov.
The White House is under fire for a blog post asking supporters to send "fishy" information received through rumors, chain e-mails and casual conversations to a White House e-mail address, flag@whitehouse.gov.

Conservatives have pounced on the request, accusing the White House of acting Orwellian.

"If you get an e-mail from your neighbor and it doesn't sound right, send it to the White House?"said Sen. John Barasso, R-Wyo. " People, I think all across America are going to say is this 1984? What is happening here? Is big brother watching?"
Fox News

This is over the top for me. I am curious as to what they plan to do about the emails. Are they going to send the "Security Force" after us? When is the rest of the country going to wake up to what is going on?

The accusations about Astro Turf and about the town hall protests being planned out were first planted on MSNBC. I heard Rachel, and Keith start with the accusations. They are the most hateful network on television. I am sick of them making fun of southerners, christians and rightwinger republicans.

Jackson Browne defeats John McCain

Singer Jackson Browne has won his copyright battle against Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), getting an apology and an undisclosed sum of money from the 2008 presidential nominee for a pro-McCain Web video that appropriated the artist's hit song "Running On Empty."

I am just wondering if Barack Obama had of used the song if he would have gotten sued over it. To my understanding, it was the RNC of Ohio that used the song, and John McCain didn't know anything about it. They should have gotten permission, though.

Good article from National Review

It is about Obama and how he is handling Iran. I feel the same way that he does about the fact Obama voted present again on this issue. He sure does have a hard time making decisions, doesn't he?

Obama, PETA and the fly

Obama was on CNBC the other day, and while giving an interview, he killed a fly. PETA wishes he hadn't done that. During the interview, he happened to mention that he didn't get good coverage from Fox News.

Keith Olbermann on MSNBC had Fox News on the Worst Person Of the World segment. He is just a hater. Whenever he or Rachel Maddow call the Republicans the "party of no", I always think of them as the "party of hate". The thing that really gets me is the fact that they jumped all over Bill O'Reilly over the Tiller controversy. They had the nerve to say that he instigated hate, and his reporting got Tiller killed. What do they think that they do?

It wasn't O'Reilly's fault. He was doing his job of reporting the news. I don't care if Salon.com likes that fact or not. Sites like MSNBC, Huffington Post, Salon.com, Move on.org, etc. keep the hate stirred up all the time. Fox News.

Obama's Birth Certificate issue

Check this article out: Click here.

Is Obama "Above the Law?" He already made the comment that he wouldn't be able to be confirmed for the Supreme Court after he leaves the White House. I heard that on Fox News last week.

I know he can't take criticism at all. He came out against Fox News during an interview. He isn't used to anyone not agreeing with him.
