Do you ever get tired of the hypocracy of the left?

I do. There seems to be a double standard. It is ok for them to call the Tea Parties racist, empty headed, etc. They never seem to look at what they do.

On MSNBC the other night, they were complaining that the GOP were doing Robo calls to Democrats. They used President Bush's comments about supporting Arlen Spector. I was flipping channels when I heard this. All they seem to do is whine about whatever and whenever we don't go along with them.

I wish that I could have come up behind them and slapped them on the back of their heads for the things they say. I don't watch NBC, MSNBC or buy GE products due to them doing business with Iran. Iran issued weapons against our troops. I don't watch CNN news anymore either. I don't like what that reporter did at the Tea Party.

What ever happened to the news media being objective? The media died a few years back. What we now have is a bunch of hateful backbiters and complainers. I found it despicable of them to talk about Miss California like they did. I saw that film clip on O'Reilly the other night.

Since when did we lose our freedom of speech? Has the Constitution been changed and they didn't tell anyone? They are trying to totally crush the Republicans and are gloating over Spector being the defector. They might not have gotten the prize they thought they did. Think about it, if he changed parties once, he may do it again.

In their opinion, we are supposed to agree with them all the time. I guess their attitude is "I won." My opinion of them gets lower every day. I think that they are hippy tree huggers who became adults, left over from the 60's. They never grew out of it. I resent the fact that they had prayer taken out of school, and they don't seem to acknowledge the Declaration of Independence.

They constantly step on my rights to have "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness." This country was founded on Christian Principles. Just because of a letter from John Adams about separation of church and state, they use that to further their agenda.

I am just wondering how long we will stay stifled by them. I may be wrong, but I see the left as a cult. The President has a following that is down right scary, and cultish. Just my opinion. It is scary the way they refer to him as the Messiah, and they think that he never does any wrong. If you disagree with his policies, they try to crush you.

I get tired of the hatred of the Democrats. They hate President Bush with a vengence. The ACLU is infected. The left keeps the hatred going. They hate Wall Street, therefore the businesses in this country have to suffer.

I have always heard that the Democrats are supposed to be for the poor people, but that is proving to be untrue. They print money all the time for the Banks, Auto Industry, etc. but do nothing for the citizens but raise their taxes. They want to "Spread the Wealth around", but yet small businesses are suffering and going out of business.

People are wanting to go back to work, but the job market is scarce, to say the least. Unemployment checks only go so far, and the week of July 3, mine will run out. Nothing is being done about it either. They keep saying on television to talk to your creditors, and it doesn't do any good. They want their full payment, when they have gotten all kinds of money from our Federal Government.

The citizens are needing help now, not two years from now. They have lost touch with us little people. On this side of the fence, things look pretty bleak. They have not given any incentives for people to start new businesses to put the unemployed back to work.

Also, the scare that New York City got last week was inexcusable. That jet cost us tax-payers over 300 thousand dollars. That money could have been spent elsewhere to help the citizens of this country instead of scaring them to death like that.

Log Cabin Republicans

We Heard . . .

THAT Steve Schmidt, John McCain’s chief strategist in last year’s presidential campaign, is urging conservatives to drop their opposition to same-sex marriage.

In a speech on Friday to Log Cabin Republicans, a gay rights organization, Schmidt said, “There is a sound conservative argument to be made for same-sex marriage.

“I believe conservatives, more than liberals, insist that rights come with responsibilities. No other exercise of one’s liberty comes with greater responsibilities than marriage.”

Schmidt also made a political argument for his stance, noting that McCain lost to Barack Obama by a wide margin among voters under 30, who are generally more accepting of gay couples, CNN reported.

McCain voiced opposition to same-sex marriage on the 2008 campaign trail.

THAT a new political action organization called GOProud has been formed to represent gay conservatives and their conservative allies.

The group’s chairman is Christopher Barron, former political director for Log Cabin Republicans, and its executive director is Jimmy LaSalvia, former policy director for Log Cabin Republicans.

The organization said in a release: “GOProud represents gay conservatives and their allies. GOProud is committed to a traditional conservative agenda that emphasizes limited government, individual liberty, free markets, and a confident foreign policy.

“GOProud promotes our traditional conservative agenda by influencing politics and policy at the federal level.”

This is an excerpt from an email that I recieved from Newsmax.com. Because of my Christian beliefs, I think that marriage is between one man and one woman. I believe that God was the creator of marriage in the book of Genesis. I also believe the story of Sodom and Gomorrah in the Bible. That city was destroyed because of the evil in it. They were under the judgement of God.

I look at it on the secular side, also. If there is a gay couple, and one of them is in the hospital, the other one doesn't have any rights to look after them. If the Gay Community wanted to label their union under a different name besides marriage, I would be more apt to go for it, like a civil union kind of thing.

When they want to call their union a marriage, I believe that my Christian beliefs are being infringed upon. If they would take it to a more secular level it wouldn't bother me as much. I heard a Catholic Priest that was on Fox News say that it wasn't that we hate the Gay Community. He said that they were the ones who have to learn to control it.

Maybe the Gay Community would stop hating Christians so much if they got their rights through a civil union. How do you all feel about this issue? I would really like to know.

A blog post that I found that is really good

It is written with the title, to my fellow conservatives. I don't know about anyone else, but I find it sad that the Democrats are in control in the House, Senate, and White House.

Everyone acts like they think we ought to be overjoyed because "The One" is about to become the President. Everyone acts like we ought to be happy about it. I find it sad. I cannot be happy about it. I heard the people on television today chanting for Obama.

Quite honestly, the Obama love-fest is getting a little sickening. The MSM is in love with him, and so are the left. I told someone the other day that I believe that he could murder someone on television before everyone's eyes, and they would try to say that he didn't do it.

I feel like screaming when I hear him being compared to Abraham Lincoln, and I wish that they would knock it off. He is not Abraham Lincoln and will never be. It bothers me that he is going to be sworn in on Lincoln's Bible, and the train ride, etc.

Why won’t Barack Obama end the controversy?

Why won’t Barack Obama end the controversy?
I was reading an article about the birth certificate issue, and it occurred to me that Barack Obama could end a lot of this controversy by coming clean with the American Public. Why won’t he hand over the long form of his birth certificate? By him not doing so, it makes the American Public, (his constituents) think that he is hiding something. It does nothing but build up the people to not trust him with the Presidency.

Yet, he will spend hundreds of dollars to pay an attorney to keep his birth certificate from being seen. He could solve other issues about his citizenship by handing over the documents that the 13 lawsuits are asking for. Instead, he chooses to let it go through the Supreme Court and take up the honorable justice’s time, and our taxpayer money to let all this “take its course.”

I am in no way defending him on this issue. But, if you will think back to the time before the election when Reverend Wright was spewing his hatred for all the country to see, he didn’t leave his church. Not until Reverend Wright came out against him.

What did Barack Obama do? He claimed he didn’t know what Reverend Wright had been saying, although he sat in a pew at his church for 20 years. The sermons were available right there in the church.

These are just a few examples of how Barack Obama handles situations. How many times did he just vote present in the Illinois legislature? Is it indecision, or does he love to have controversy?

Back during the campaign, when the financial crisis broke, Barack Obama voted present then. John McCain actually tried to do something, and got criticized for it, while Obama did nothing.

Then the MSM, paints Barack Obama’s failure to do anything as leadership ability. Not in my opinion. It is a blatant inability on Barack Obama’s part to make decisions. That is why it took him so long to come up with any plans to help in the financial crisis. This is how he operates.

Instead of looking at a problem straight on, and dealing with it, he ignores the problem, hoping that it will go away. He uses people to get his agenda, and then he throws them under the bus. There is quite a stack of people going under the bus, eventually it will become quite crowded under there.

I hate to think what will happen if he makes it to the Presidency and we have a terrorist attack or some other sort of emergency. He will ignore it until he has to make a decision. This is the way he handles problems. He brings a lot of his problems on himself. That is not leadership and management.

I am glad that Abraham Lincoln wasn’t like that. Three states had already succeeded from the Union when he took office. He handled the problems as quickly as he could. He didn’t sit in the indecision mode until he could do it no longer.

His son Willie died while he was in the White House, and three weeks later, Lincoln commanded his Union Armies himself because he wasn’t satisfied by how the war was going. Barack Obama would not do it, if he were in that situation.

It makes me sick how the MSM are trying to compare Barack Obama to President Lincoln. Just because he read a book on how Lincoln put rivals in the cabinet. Barack Obama, you are not Abraham Lincoln, and you will never be. You aren’t Franklin Roosevelt either. Both of these former presidents had the ability to make decisions, and you have trouble with it.

I just now heard that he has spoken out that the Governor of Illinois has to go. Why didn’t he say that yesterday? This case will be extremely interesting when all the details come out.

I appreciate you, President Bush

We haven't had a Terrorist Attack in 7 years. He has kept us safe. I am worried about our future with Barack Obama in office. I didn't do the following petition, but I found it on another blog last night, and signed it.

If you would like to tell President Bush Thank you for keeping us safe, Read the following:

------- FORWARD THIS TO YOUR FRIENDS -------
Hi,

I wanted to draw your attention to this important petition that I recently signed:

Court won't review Obama's eligibility to serve

This is all I could find on this story. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/chi-obama-birth-certificate1dec08,0,7258812.story
Court won't review Obama's eligibility to serve
By Tim Jones | Tribune correspondent
9:16 AM CST, December 8, 2008
UPDATE: The Supreme Court has turned down an emergency appeal from a New Jersey man who says President-elect Barack Obama is ineligible to be president because he was a British subject at birth.

The court did not comment on its order Monday rejecting the call by Leo Donofrio of East Brunswick, N.J., to intervene in the presidential election. Donofrio says that since Obama had dual nationality at birth -- his mother was American and his Kenyan father at the time was a British subject -- he cannot possibly be a "natural born citizen," one of the requirements the Constitution lists for eligibility to be president.

Donofrio also contends that two other candidates, Republican John McCain and Socialist Workers candidate Roger Calero, also are not natural-born citizens and thus ineligible to be president.

At least one other appeal over Obama's citizenship remains at the court. Philip J. Berg of Lafayette Hill, Pa., argues that Obama was born in Kenya, not Hawaii as Obama says and the Hawaii secretary of state has confirmed. Berg says Obama also may be a citizen of Indonesia, where he lived as a boy. Federal courts in Pennsylvania have dismissed Berg's lawsuit.

Rep. Louie Gohmert: No More Taxpayer

I heard about this on Fox News yesterday, and decided to post it. This would mean that they wouldn't take out any taxes on our paychecks for the month of Jan. and Feb. This includes Social Security taxes. I am not sure about state taxes, though. The way they would pay for it would be to use the 350 Billion they have left. People would get the money faster than if they did another stimulous package. The only bad thing that I see about this, is that it would affect your income taxes at the end of the year. What are your thoughts on this?
Rep. Louie Gohmert: No More Taxpayer
Funds for Washington Fat Cats
Special Commentary from Scott Wheeler

A Republican congressman is looking for cosponsors of a bill he says could "electrify the American economy" by declaring a "tax holiday" for U.S. taxpayers in legislation that would use the remaining unspent bailout funds, about $350 billion, to provide a tax-free period for those who have paid for the current bailouts.

Louie Gohmert, a second-term congressman from Texas, proposed the plan last week, and while it may seem a little radical at first glance, Gohmert?s reasoning is compelling. He says, "We can save more home mortgages, increase employment, and boost economic growth for a lower price tag with this plan than with any centralized bureaucratic program, all by giving the power back to the taxpayers."

Clearly, it was an idea borne of frustration. "I am sick of Washington millionaires trying to decide which of their cronies should get the next wad of taxpayer money," Gohmert said in a statement.

Gohmert?s frustration, and his plan, have taken business-friendly tax cuts and melded them to the anti-bailout sentiment among taxpayers who pay their own bills and are now forced to pay the freight for big corporations who aren't paying theirs. A free-market populism of sorts.

His proposal is sure to strike a chord with those who recognize that bailouts are the opiate of government dependent corporations, but the question is, Will it be too aggressive for the timid GOP? If Republicans were smart they would grab hold of Gohmert?s idea, sharpen it to a point, and dare Democrats to oppose it.

What an amusing image that would be: The Democratic Party, which has ridden to power on a platform of class warfare, caught turning their backs on the people they claim to represent ? the middle class ? in order to help the very billionaires they have taught their constituents to hate.

This idea could help Republicans reclaim the mantle of free market economics that they forfeited by backing the bailout to begin with. It would also leave Democrat hypocrites looking more like Boss Tweed than Robert La Follette.

Political posturing aside, Gohmert?s idea should be embraced by Republicans because it is the right thing to do for the taxpayers, and as he has also pointed out, the plan makes more economic sense than bailing out large corporations, "Those in lower-income brackets who are hit the hardest by the FICA tax would see huge money back, and then they could choose who should benefit from their hard earned money."

He adds, "Even the self-employed and small business owners would receive a fantastic amount of their own much-needed money, and they will be able to invest that back into their businesses and even create the ability to hire more people."

I encourage our members to contact their Congressman and Senators to voice their support of Congressman Gohmert's proposal.

Saxby Chambliss wins the election!!!!!!!!!

We had a run-off election here in Georgia. The law here says that Saxby Chambliss had to have over 50% of the vote to win. He had 49.8% of the vote. Jim Martin, his Democratic opponent had something like 46% of the vote. There was a Libertarian running also, and he got something like 3% of the vote.

I am glad that Saxby Chambliss won. He says that Sarah Palin brought out the base. This was an important win, not only for Georgians, but for the whole country. We stopped the Democrats from haveing a super majority in the Senate.

I am so sick of the liberals in the media saying things about the Republicans, and about Saxby. I am so tired of the way they have treated and hated President Bush. If the New York Times had it's way, they would get President Bush out of office right this minute. They have been on him since the day he got nominated.

I guess now that Saxby won the election, they are trying to say that Georgians are stupid for voting for him. Why is it the Republicans are always wrong, and the left is right? I haven't been able to figure that one out.

I know one thing, this country needs to get on it's knees and pray for our great nation. I never thought that I would see the day when our religious freedoms are being taken away. It has been happening for the past few years.

Our country is facing a lot of problems. Some of them we have never encountered before. There is a steep moral decline. Christians are being persecuted for their beliefs, and the Supreme Court, and lower courts haven't helped in that department either.

Getting Saxby elected back to the Senate is a start. At least, he will be able to stand up for what is right if the Liberals lean too far to the left. You never know what they will come up with next.

I have heard nothing but bad comments from the media about the senator's win. They would love for the whole Republican party to desolve, and never rise again. I have a message for them, We will be back!!!!!!! Saxby's win is a start. It is time for the right to stand up and fight and take back our country!!!!

Our country is on the verge of falling into destruction. With all of the bail=outs, etc., we will eventually run out of money. We have a Democratic Congress, President elect, and a liberal media to fight against. Who will stand up for what is right in the country? Who will tell the people the truth about what is really going on?

The people need to stay informed about what is going on, not only in Congress, but in the MSM. I blame them a lot for what has happened in this moral decline of our beloved country. We are supposed to be able to trust them to report the news, and not put their own agenda and spin on it. They should be objective in their reporting. You can't trust them anymore.

Little baby steps will help us to rise again, and stand up for what is right. It won't be easy. Christians, we need to pray for our country. If everyone prayed at 9:00 pm every night in their own time zone, we would begin to see some results. The bible says that if two shall agree, it shall be. Prayer changes things.

The Election, and some Patriotic links below it.

We are a nation that has forgotten about God. I am disappointed in the results, and disappointed in half of the American people's judgement for the first time in my life. We had a national media that didn't report the news, just their liberal views. They were in the pocket for Nobama. Reporters are supposed to be objective, and we can't trust our media in this country anymore.

Already, we have heard from Hugo Chavez, and Russia. Joe Biden said within six months. It was six hours after he won the election. Thank you America for putting our country in danger. Also, have you noticed the dive the stock market has taken? The first time in history that has happened since an election. Thanks again, Americans that voted him in.

You were just worried about your 401K, and the Bailout, weren't you? If Nobama makes the wrong decisions, we could be in some serious trouble. You didn't think about that when you voted in that Chicago Thug, did you? I might add, he didn't have the experience to be President. If he were to get a job with the FBI, he wouldn't pass the background test, yet you voted him in anyway. You knew about his associations. You did it anyway.

Now, we have a far-left President elect, and a Congress that is looney-left. The ones who voted these people in, are responsible. Nobama can do anything he wants to do now. Thanks Americans.

Nancy Pelosi (Speaker of the house, a Democrat) set up the Republicans on the bailout bill. They could have passed it on their own, but they didn't want to be blamed by the voting public for it. They refused to go along with it the first time. Now, every one of the Republicans that voted for the bailout lost their seat, or their seat is in jeopardy. That is so wrong.

Now we have people in our country that are afraid. I suspect that many will begin to appreciate President Bush when he isn't in office anymore. We haven't had a terrorist attack in seven years. From day one, the media was on him. From day one, the Democraps started in on him. Mad about the election of 2000.

I was mad about the bailout and my 401K also. I didn't let it reflect my vote. Bill Clinton, a democrat did it to you, not the Republicans. Yet, the Republicans had to take the wrap for it because it was on their watch.

This election was a great victory for the Black people. That is the only good thing about it.

QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD ASK YOURSELF FOR THOSE TO THINK ABOUT BEFORE YOU VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do I care for the small business owners that will have to give their employees a pink slip because of increased taxes.

Do I care and don’t believe taxes will only affect those making $250,000.down to $120 now

Do I care for the idea of Socialism.

Do I care the idea of sharing the wealth of my hard earned money. spread the wealth obama words not mine

Do I care how our children are being brainwashed by the liberals views of their teachers and professors.

Do I care for our children loosing their freedoms that we all once enjoyed.

Do I care for what may happen if we are attacked again and sitting down without preconditions with our enemies Obamas words not mine.

Do I care for what may happen to our judicial system. We have aready seen some of that.

Do I care for the international crisis Biden talked about. We can’t afford on the job training Biden’s words not mine.

Do I care for a Govenment without checks and balances.

Do I wonder a leader who seems to surround himself with racials and American haters.

Do I care about losing my freedom of speech.

Do I fear censorship. already seen signs of that

Do I care about our National Security and the safety of me and my family.

DO I CARE ABOUT OUR BRAVE YOUNG AND WOMEN THAT ARE FIGHTING STILL AND HAVE DIED FOR OUR FREEDOM.

****My answer (YOU BET I DO). I care about all the brave young Men and Women that fought and died for our country. Those are the questions I would ask myself. I am an independent voter and was on the fench until weeks ago. I watch and did my homework on facts I have research myself.I check the records and could come to only one conclusion. McCain/Pain 08

Why I don't vote for Democrats

Barnie Frank, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reed, and Barack Obama.

This morning, on Fox News, I heard Barnie Frank say that they were going to cut our spending on the military.

My thoughts on this comment:
I can't stand Barnie Frank. Last week, Obama's running mate, Joe Biden said that within six months of an Obama Presidency that he would have an international crisis. "While making this statement —- “The world is looking,” he said. “Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy” ———"

BIDEN also stated that “The world will find out that Barack has a SPINE OF STEEL”.
The whole thing doesn't make any sense to me. Why would they cut back our military at a time when we are going to need it?

A few days earlier, Barnie Frank said he wasn't worried about the budget, because we would make the money up when they taxed the rich people.

Just because a Rep. Senator said the democrats were socialists, and anti-American on NSMBC to Chris Mathews, Nancy Pelosi said that she wasn't worthy to be in Congress. She donated a million dollars to her Democratic opponent.

Barack Obama's campaign has so much money that they are outspending Senator McCain's campaign at a rate of eight to one. Where is he getting all this money? I wish they would investigate his contributions. For all we know, he could be getting money from Ha mas because of all his radical friends that he has.

I personally think if Obama's campaign has so much money, why doesn't he spread the wealth around..... Just a thought.

The impression I am getting from all of this is that they know they have won the election. I hope they don't win. They are already counting their chickens before they hatch.
As someone on the New York Times blog said:

America will evolve into a socialist America.
Democratic House.
Democratic Senate.
Democratic Supreme Court.
I think that America will not be able
to revive itself as a Superpower and
leader of a ‘free’ world.

This person is from South Africa, and I couldn't have said it any better.
