Fw: Spending of our tax payers money

Chuck Schumer was on television yesterday saying that Americans didn't care about pork barrel spending. He insinuated that it was all media chatter. Lets show him different. I just got through emailing him, and will also call his contact numbers to let him know just how I feel about the stimulus pork barrel spending of my tax dollars. His contact information is below.

Dear SENATOR CHARLES SCHUMER - DEMOCRAT,

I am sending you this email to let you know that we Americans do care about how you spend our tax money. I heard you on television saying that we don't care, well, you are wrong. I have a suggestion for you to get out more, because you obviously have been in your office and in Washington for far too long. I mean this with all due respect.

We Americans work hard to take care of our families. We care where our tax dollars go. We would rather have tax cuts than the outrageous spending that you Democrats are doing.

With the tax cuts, if the economy improves, you can turn them off a whole lot easier then you can with legislation. We the people want you and the other elected officials to use our tax dollars wisely. We the people want to end the pork barrel spending and want transparency in our government.

We the people would like our President to present us with transparancy by proving that he is a United States Natural Born Citizen by being transparent enough by showing his birth certificate. If he would do this, he would stop a lot of distrust in him and in the Democratic Party.

Thanks for reading.

Subject: Spread the wealth

One of my mom's best friends sent this to me, and I couldn't resist sharing it here.

"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."
