QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD ASK YOURSELF FOR THOSE TO THINK ABOUT BEFORE YOU VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do I care for the small business owners that will have to give their employees a pink slip because of increased taxes.
Do I care and don’t believe taxes will only affect those making $250,000.down to $120 now
Do I care for the idea of Socialism.
Do I care the idea of sharing the wealth of my hard earned money. spread the wealth obama words not mine
Do I care how our children are being brainwashed by the liberals views of their teachers and professors.
Do I care for our children loosing their freedoms that we all once enjoyed.
Do I care for what may happen if we are attacked again and sitting down without preconditions with our enemies Obamas words not mine.
Do I care for what may happen to our judicial system. We have aready seen some of that.
Do I care for the international crisis Biden talked about. We can’t afford on the job training Biden’s words not mine.
Do I care for a Govenment without checks and balances.
Do I wonder a leader who seems to surround himself with racials and American haters.
Do I care about losing my freedom of speech.
Do I fear censorship. already seen signs of that
Do I care about our National Security and the safety of me and my family.
DO I CARE ABOUT OUR BRAVE YOUNG AND WOMEN THAT ARE FIGHTING STILL AND HAVE DIED FOR OUR FREEDOM.
****My answer (YOU BET I DO). I care about all the brave young Men and Women that fought and died for our country. Those are the questions I would ask myself. I am an independent voter and was on the fench until weeks ago. I watch and did my homework on facts I have research myself.I check the records and could come to only one conclusion. McCain/Pain 08
God Bless America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Think before you vote
We are going to get a change, will it be for the better?
Subject: Fw: Lee Iacocca Speaks About America
The two party system????
Remember Lee Iacocca, the VP at Ford credited with the birth of the Mustang, the man who rescued Chrysler, Corporation from their death throes, and the owner of the famous quote 'Lead, follow, or get out of the way'? Well, he's back! He has a new book, and here are some excerpts.
Lee Iacocca writes:
'Am I the only guy in this country who's fed up with what's happening? Where the hell is our outrage? We should be screaming bloody murder. We've got a gang of clueless bozos steering our ship of state right over a cliff, we've got corporate gangsters stealing us blind, and we can't even clean up after a hurricane much less build a hybrid car. But instead of getting mad, everyone sits around and nods their heads when the politicians say, 'Stay the course'
Stay the course? You've got to be kidding. This is America , not the damned 'Titanic' I'll give you a sound bite: 'Throw all the bums out!'
You might think I'm getting senile, that I've gone off my rocker, and maybe I have. But someone has to speak up. I hardly recognize this country anymore.
The most famous business leaders are not the innovators but the guys in handcuffs. While we're fiddling in Iraq , the Middle East is burning and nobody seems to know what to do. And the press is waving 'pom-poms' instead of asking hard questions. That's not the promise of the ' America ' my parents and yours traveled across the ocean for. I've had enough. How about you?
I'll go a step further. You can't call yourself a patriot if you're not outraged. This is a fight I'm ready and willing to have.
The Biggest 'C' is Crisis !
Leaders are made, not born. Leadership is forged in times of crisis. It's easy to sit there with your feet up on the desk and talk theory. Or send someone else's kids off to war when you've never seen a battlefield yourself. It's another thing to lead when your world comes tumbling down. George Bush, Dick Chaney and who it this Bozo
coming up next? One of the most Liberal Idiots in the U. S. Senate and he is talking about disarming America . I can't believe the American people are seeing what he is about to do to this country. May God have mercy on us all.
On September 11, 2001, we needed a strong leader more than any other time in our history. We needed a steady hand to guide us out of the ashes. A Hell of a Mess. So here's where we stand. We're immersed in a bloody war with no plan for winning and no plan for leaving. We're running the biggest deficit in the history of the country. We're losing the manufacturing edge to Asia , while our once-great Companies are all moving offshore. We're getting slaughtered by health care costs. Gas prices are skyrocketing, and nobody in power has a coherent energy policy. Our schools are the worst in the world. Our borders are like sieves. The middle class is being squeezed every which way. These are times that cry out for leadership and we are getting ready to put the most Liberal Senator in the U. S. Senate in as our next President because we want to be fair and elect someone just because of his race. We don't have time to be fair, we need a strong leader.
But when you look around, you've got to ask: 'Where have all the leaders gone?' Where are the curious, creative communicators? Where are the people of character, courage, conviction, omnipotence, and common sense? I may be a sucker for alliteration, but I hope you get the point.
Name me a leader who has a better idea for homeland security than making us take off our shoes in airports and throw away our shampoo? We've spent billions of dollars building a huge new bureaucracy, and all we know how to do is react to things that have already happened.
Name me one leader who emerged from the crisis of Hurricane Katrina. Congress has yet to spend a single day evaluating the response to the hurricane, or demanding accountability for the decisions that were made in the crucial hours after the storm. Everyone's hunkering down, fingers crossed, hoping it doesn't happen again. Well guess what people? We are having more floods right now. What are we doing to help these people out. Now, that's just crazy. Storms happen. Deal with it. Make a plan. Figure out what you're going to do the next time. Why are we allowing people to build in flood plains anyway? If you build in a flood area, expect to be flooded and deal with it. Don't expect the Government to bail you out.
Name me an industry leader who is thinking creatively about how we can restore our competitive edge in manufacturing. All they seem to be thinking now-days is getting themselves bigger salaries and bonuses. Who would have believed that there could ever be a time when 'The Big Three' referred to Japanese car companies? How did this happen, and more important, what are we going to do about it? likely nothing!
Name me a government leader who can articulate a plan for paying down the debt, or solving the energy crisis, or managing the health care problem. The silence is deafening. But these are the crises that are eating away at our country and milking the middle class dry.
I have news for the gang in Congress and the Senate. We didn't elect you to sit on your asses and do nothing and remain silent while our democracy is being hijacked and our greatness is being replaced with mediocrity. What is everybody so afraid of? That some bonehead on Fox News will call them a name? Give me a break. Why don't you guys show some spine for a change? I honestly don't think any of you have one!
Had Enough?
Hey, I'm not trying to be the voice of gloom and doom here. I'm trying to light a fire. I'm speaking out because I have hope; I believe in America .... In my lifetime I've had the privilege of living through some of America's greatest moments I've also experienced some of our worst crises: the 'Great Depression', 'World War II', the 'Korean War', the 'Kennedy Assassination', the 'Vietnam War', the 1970s oil crisis, and the struggles of recent years culminating with 9/11. If I've learned one thing, it's this:
'You don't get anywhere by standing on the sidelines waiting for somebody else to take action. Whether it's building a better car or building a better future for our children, we all have a role to play. That's the challenge I'm raising in this book. It's a call to 'Action' for people who, like me, believe in America . It's not too late, but it's getting pretty close. So let's shake off the crap and go to work. Let's tell 'em all we've had 'enough.'
Make a 'real contribution' by sending this to everyone you know and care about......our future is at stake!
Lee Iacocca Speaks About America
Marty Seifert: The times call for John McCain
By Rep. Marty Seifert
Last update: October 31, 2008 - 10:50 PM
America is at a moment of national crisis that will determine its future. Will it continue to lead the world’s economies or will it be overtaken? Will the world become safer or more dangerous? Will our military remain the strongest in the world? Will our children and grandchildren’s future be brighter than ours?
I believe our answer is a resounding “Yes!” But we must elect a president who is prepared to do more than just offer eloquent words. At a time of economic crisis and international conflict, America can’t afford to take a gamble on what the Star Tribune describes as a “flawed” candidate who would ideally “have more experience” (Editorial, Oct. 26).
That is why I strongly urge you to vote for the candidate who has fought for his country and its citizens since age 17 by continually putting his country first: John McCain.
Clearly both candidates for president possess noble intentions for this country. While we can all acknowledge Sen. Barack Obama’s ability to wax poetic on the stump and speak in undefined terms about “hope and change,” America requires more substance from one who would stand to lead her during this perilous time. As Americans, we have an obvious choice as to who will be the true agent of change in this election, and it is not the junior senator from Illinois.
At this moment in our history, it is imperative we choose someone who can lead in a bipartisan manner, not just talk about it. John McCain’s career in the Senate is a testament to this type of leadership. There are numerous examples of Sen. McCain taking on his own party and working with different members of the Senate who are Democrats.
We’ve heard Sen. Obama promise he’s only going to go after “the rich.” However, it will be a large portion of the middle class who will bear the brunt. To pay for nearly a trillion dollars in new government spending, his tax increases would impact 50 percent of small-business income and the jobs of 16 million middle-class Americans who work for those small businesses. You cannot say you are going to create more jobs, then tax job providers.
In tough economic times, higher taxes are the last thing we need. Sen. McCain believes in policies that grow the economy and create jobs. He knows the true engine of our economic recovery is our middle class, including small-business owners and the workers they employ, and that tax increases which penalize success in the name of spreading the wealth will mean layoffs and a deeper recession.
One candidate wants to spread wealth, while the other wants to spread opportunity. One will punish the successful, while the other wants to make everyone successful. One wants my vote with promises of “hope and change,” while the other has earned my vote through a career of service putting country first.
John McCain has said he will stand and fight for us. I ask that you join me and stand for him to be our next president.

Barack Obama Couldn’t Pass a Routine Background Investigation
By Gregory D. Lee
Retired DEA Supervisory Special Agent.
October 10, 2008
A while back, radio talk show host Michael Savage brought up the notion that Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama couldn’t pass a background investigation to become an FBI special agent.
He doesn’t know how right he is.
Sen. Barack Obama wouldn’t pass a routine government background investigation, not only to become an FBI agent, but a police officer as well. If he were a soldier, his background would preclude him from obtaining a security clearance. He wouldn’t even qualify to be a support person in a federal agency, such as secretary, for that matter. His past cocaine usage disqualifies him from being a DEA agent.
There’s another big problem Sen. Obama has: His association and business relationship with Weatherman Underground founder William Ayers, a former domestic terrorist who is still unrepentant for his bombings on U.S. landmarks and police stations. Usually, the company you keep reveals who you really are. Ayers felt then, as he does now, that America is the evil of the world and needs punishing for past and current bad acts. Not many federal agencies would want someone with that kind of chip on his shoulder working for it.
Also, Sen. Obama’s association with Tony Rezko and the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) come to mind. Rezko was just convicted of promoting corruption among Chicago politicians. He helped in the purchase of the senator’s home and was a campaign fundraiser for Obama. ACORN is being investigated by the feds for systematic voter registration fraud. Not good things.
Let’s not forget about Sen. Obama’s pastor and mentor for 20 years, America-hater Rev. Jeremiah Wright. When first questioned about his membership in Wright’s black theology church, Sen. Obama first denied knowing Rev. Wright harbored such negative feelings about the U.S., but after being further pressed, he dismissed the reverend’s conduct as like a “crazy uncle” who lived in the basement. He finally decided that he couldn’t politically afford to stay in the church, and dropped his membership.
To keep job applicants honest, many government agencies such as DEA, FBI, CIA and others require them to take a polygraph examination. Do you think Sen. Obama could pass a polygraph when he approves an ad that mocks Sen. John McCain for being unable to send e-mails without mentioning his poorly mended broken arms while in custody of the North Vietnamese which prevents him from manipulating the computer keyboard? He’s not computer illiterate, he’s handicapped!
Would you want a police officer in your city associating with such people? Not likely. But Obama supporters ignore these associations because they are desperate for a Democrat in the White House.
A federal government full-field background investigation would also look for prior inconsistencies, exaggerations and outright lies on an application for employment.
I once conducted a background check for an applicant to become a secretary for DEA. She had previously worked for a large police department as a secretary, and left the job to have a child. She was ready to re-enter the workforce and wanted to work for DEA. She seemed perfect for the job until the background investigation revealed that she lied on her application. She claimed to have 30-semester hours of college in office management, when in reality she attended one day of one class and then dropped out. The fact that she lied was sufficient justification to consider her application no further. After all, if she would lie about that, what else has she lied about? Obviously the woman lacked integrity, which is a vital qualification for any position within the federal government, even a DEA secretary who would have access to all investigative reports.
I’d like to conduct Sen. Obama’s background investigation. I’d review his application for the Illinois state bar and see if he mentioned the drug usage that he disclosed in one of his books. If the question about drugs was asked, and he denied it at the time, his integrity is immediately put into question. He revealed it in his book to float a balloon to test his potential as a viable presidential candidate. Admitting it prevented his political opponents from attacking him about it. In fact, in the eyes of many Sen. Obama supporters, using drugs enhances his resume. It’s something they can relate to.
Personally I like my presidents to not associate with known criminals, be drug-free for a lifetime, have unquestioned integrity and be able to pass a simple background investigation.
